Our Havanese Dogs

We breed pure Havanese puppies twice a year (late Spring and early Fall). To learn more about our dogs, click each dog's name to the right.

All of our adult dogs are tested annually; this includes testing their patellas, getting their eyes cerfed, and Baer testing on their ears. We breed to the AKC standard.

Havanese History

The Havanese itself developed uniquely in Cuba, either as the result of said Spanish sailors, or as is often believed by native Cubans, as gifts from Italian traders to open the doors of wealthy houses to their goods. The "Little Dog from Havana" even traveled back to Europe where it found brief favor in the late 19th century as a circus and trick dog and a court companion.

I have new puppies born 11\23\09. 2 females black with white markings and 2 males black and white. One of my little girls has been adopted already. They have had their third shots and well checks with the vet. They are 3 months old now and are eating dry puppy chow They are healthy and very active. We are teaching them to use the doggy door and to go outsdie to potty. They are really smart they already know how to go up and down the steps off the deck. Well here we go again. Abby has had her puppies. More to take care of they aren't too bad now cause all they do is eat and sleep. Abby won't let me anywhere near her puppies. Just wait one of these days she will want my help but maybe I will be too busy. We will see. They are pretty darn cute though. I'll be glad when they start eatng puppy chow.
